Does my audio leave this device?

No. These tools decode, analyze and process audio in your browser. PitchChanger does not upload your selected audio or microphone recordings to a processing service.

What still needs a connection?

The website, audio engines and separation models must be downloaded. Some assets may be cached by your browser, but offline operation is not guaranteed. Loading the site and its assets still makes ordinary network requests.

How is website usage measured?

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand page interactions through heatmaps and session replays. Clarity receives usage and device information, with page text masked and analytics and advertising cookies disabled. Audio files and microphone recordings stay on your device. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Microsoft handles this data.

What stays in browser storage?

Recording and separation can use temporary browser storage (OPFS). Separation models may be cached between visits. Tools attempt to release temporary files when you reset or leave; interrupted sessions and browser eviction can affect this. Clearing this site’s browser data removes its retained caches and local data.

What should I check before starting?

Keep a copy of your original. Local file inputs have a 250 MB limit; decoded audio, device memory and storage impose additional limits. Stem Splitter needs WebGPU and accepts up to six minutes. Use audio you own or have permission to edit; model separation is an estimate and can introduce artifacts.
